I had a great weekend this weekend. I spent Friday having quality time with one of my closest girly friends for her birthday and then the rest of the weekend photographing beautiful children….just perfect.
Firstly, I photographed a location portrait session for the most gorgeous little girl, Aurora. I always make sure my portrait session are fun….that way your child isn’t bored and I get to capture their ‘real’ personalities. We went to the park, fed the ducks, sung in the band-stand and generally had a ball! Aurora is not only a beautiful little girl but has a lovely nature and a great sense of fun…..I had such a great time photographing her.

Back to the beautiful winter wedding I photographed just before Christmas…..
After the wedding ceremony, whilst Helen & Alex mingled with their guest they had festive ‘treats’ of mulled wine and mince pies. Wedding photography is hard work(!) so they made sure I had a mince pie or two!!
In-between stops for a warming glass of mulled wine, I took Helen & Alex outside to capture some gorgeous photographs of the two of them……I love the way Alex is trying to keep Helen warm….
And the tenderness in this photograph….
At the wedding consultation Helen told me about certain ‘details’ she loved about The Rectory, Crudwell….the sledge, the giant tea-cup, etc. Me being me….I made sure they got into their photographs some how!
Helen loved the giant tea-cup so much it seemed like the perfect ‘holder’ for her wedding cupcakes….
The room where they had their wedding breakfast looked gorgeous lit by candlelight with a few carefully placed details….
Time for just one more photograph before the snow really took hold….I love the feeling of ‘peeping’ in to a party…
Helen & Alex….what a perfect wedding…I hope you love the photographs. I know you will be tough cookies to please!
