A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure to visit The Mansion House, Clifton in Bristol two days in a row! On the Saturday I photographed ‘Mama Joyce’s’ 90th birthday party (which came from a wedding photography recommendation) and on the Sunday, Bob & Julia’s wedding.
Bob & Julia had opted for the stunning Mansion House as the beautiful backdrop for their wedding and the glorious sunny weather made it even more perfect. They were both very relaxed about the wedding itself with many details being confirmed at the very last minute but luckily everything ran according to plan!
Julia & Bob’s daughters were ‘bridesmaids’ and I loved the fact that rather than having identical dresses they had gone for a mixture to suit their shape and size in a range of colours that perfectly co-ordinated with Julia’s outfit. The stunning colour theme ran through the whole wedding from the flowers, napkins to the ribbons for the chocolate favours….just perfect!

A couple of weeks ago I was delighted to see Laura whose wedding I photographed in June 2007 and meet the new addition to her and Andy’s family…..their gorgeous little girl Katie.
Laura was looking for a present for Andy’s birthday and decided that a beautiful portrait of ‘Daddy’s two girls’ would be the perfect gift for the man who has everything. Fun is all part of the portrait experience at Firetop Photography and we spent a lovely afternoon singing, playing, laughing and capturing some gorgeous photographs for their favourite man. Katie is so adorable and so good-natured and it was an absolute pleasure to photograph her.
Andy, I hope you had a fabulous birthday and that you love the photographs. And….I understand I’ve now helped tick half the Christmas presents off the list too….fantastic!
